The End of the Road

So this is how the Chevy looked once we made it to the end of our road. Snow is an incredible thing. Individually so tiny, lite, and small. Yet, collectively snow can cause such havoc. These tiny flakes, as a group, will shut down airports, cities, and highways; snow can cause major damage to cars, trucks, and even sports stadiums....Snow is an amazing thing.

Today, I have more work to do, so better get a move on.

Old Man Winter..driving thru the snow

This was the drive out the other day. The snow you see hitting the windshield isn't from snow falling from the sky. Rather, this is snow that is being plowed by our Chevy Tahoe. Also, check out the snow flying off to the side window. To think, this is only the start of winter....

It's winter time on the Ranch....

Well, we have returned home and hitting the grind stone to pay off our trip.

But now Old Man Winter has hit us HARD! Last night, the only way we return home was thanks to the county road grater. The snow drifts were up over 3 feet deep. Check out this video as we drove home. Notice the fence posts off to the side of the road. The snow nearly covers the posts!
